Before treatment:
The patient felt numb in his right hand 12 years ago. He had part visual field deficits, double vision and was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis several months later. He had right side weakness 8 years ago, 4 years later his weakness in his right leg became worse, 2 years ago he felt weak in his arms, and he felt real pain in the right arm. One year ago he took oxcarbazepine 600mg q12h and his pain was controlled. His disease relapsed now and then.
At present his right side is weak and his exercise tolerance is bad.
His spirit is normal, his sleep and diet are normal, his urination and defecation functions are normal.

Admission PE:
Bp: 111/49mmHg, Hr: 56/min, body temperature: 36 degrees. height was 172cm, weight was 106kg. Nutrition status is normal with normal physical development. There was no skin damage or bleeding spots, oral mucosa congestion and no tonsil swelling. The chest development was normal with the respiratory sounds in both lungs clear with no moist rales. The heart beat is powerful with regular cardiac rhythm and no obvious murmur in the valves. The abdomen was soft and flat with no masses or tenderness. Liver and spleen were normal by touch and there was no edema of the legs.

Nervous System Examination:
Patient was alert and his mental status was good with clear speech. Orientation and calculation abilities were normal and his memory was good enough. Both pupils were equal in size and round, diameter of 3.0 mm, react well to light, eyeballs can move freely, there was no visual field loss and no nystagmus. Bilateral forehead wrinkle is symmetrical and the bilateral nasolabial groove depth is the same. He could make his tongue extend out but the tongue was toward the right side slightly. There was no tongue muscle atrophy, showing the teeth is normal and the uvula was in middle position. His neck could move freely and the shrug ability was normal. The left arm muscle power was 5 degrees, right arm muscle power was 4 degrees. The right leg muscle power was 3- degrees, left leg muscle power was 4 degrees. The 4 limbs muscle tone were normal and the tendon reflex was normal. The bilateral Hoffmann sign, Rossilimo sign and Babinski signs were positive. The bilateral ankle clonus was negative. Sensory examinations were normal, finger to nose test was normal. The right hand little finger could not perform the finger opposite movement, other fingers were normal. The right side fast alternate movement was clumsy, he could not perform the right side heel-knee-tibia test because of weakness, the left side was normal. He could not perform the single leg stand with his right leg, the left leg can do that for 2 seconds. Romberg's sign was negative, the meningeal irritation sign was negative.

Treatment:
After the admission he received 3  nerve regeneration treatments (neural stem cells and mesenchymal stem cells) to repair his damaged nerves, replace dead nerves with new injected stem cells, nourish nerves, regulate his immune system and improve blood circulation. This was done with rehabilitation training.     

Post-treatment:
After 14 days treatment he moved faster, his right arm proximal side muscle power was better, his right hand grip was improved, his muscle power was around 5 degrees. His right leg muscle power increased by around 20%. When he was walking his right foot was better than before and he now walked longer than before.
