Before treatment:
The patient had no obvious cause of memory loss in 2011, he often forgot things and there was progressive aggravation. A series of tests were carried out in the local hospital and he was diagnosed as having "Alzheimer's disease". His condition did not improve and was still gradually progressing, with memory decline becoming more and more serious. Calculation ability and cognitive abilities were also significantly decreased. At present he can communicate with others, can answer questions, eat and wash independently but if going out alone he will lose his way.
His diet is normal, sleep is good, urination and defecation functions are normal and the change of body weight is not obvious. There's been a history of pacemaker surgery.

Admission PE:
Bp: 126/83mmHg, Hr: 72/min, body temperature: 36.4 degrees, height, 176cm, weight, 70kg. The patient has passable nutrition status, normal physical development, no damage and bleeding spots of the skin or mucosa, no congestion in the oropharynx and no cyanosis around lips. He has a symmetrical chest, clear respiratory sounds of both lungs, no dry or moist rales heard and a regular heart rate. He had a flat and soft abdomen, no tenderness and masses, normal liver and spleen and no edema of the legs.

Nervous System Examination:
Patient was alert, in good spirit, had normal communication skills with declined memory, calculation, self- cognition and orientation. He had round and equal pupils with a diameter of 3 mm that reacted sensitively to light, free eyeball movement and strong eye-closing ability. His forehead wrinkle and nasolabial fold were symmetrical, a middle tongue when extended and strong soft palate-lifting. There was normal muscle power, muscle tone and tendon reflexes of the 4 limbs, a normal abdominal reflex and negative sucking reflex. The Hoffmman sign bilaterally and Babinski sign bilaterally were negative, a  positive palm-jaw reflex, normal coordinate movement and a negative meningeal irritation sign.

Treatment:
After the admission he received 3 nerve regeneration treatments (neural stem cells and mesenchymal stem cells) to repair his damaged nerves, replace dead nerves, nourish nerves, improve body environment, regulate his immune system and improve blood circulation. This was combined  with rehabilitation training.   

Post-treatment:
After 14 days treatment his emotions got stable, short term memory improved, calculation got much better whilst his response and intelligence also improved.
